**Job Summary**:
Big T’s Restaurants Ltd. is seeking a motivated and experienced restaurant professional to support our growing franchise network. As the **Field Operations and Franchise Lead**, you’ll play a critical role in opening new locations, leading restaurant operations during the launch phase, training staff, and supporting franchisees through their early stages. You'll also conduct regular site visits to ensure operational consistency, food safety, and brand standards across all locations.

This dynamic, field-based role is ideal for someone with a background in kitchen leadership, restaurant training, and multi-unit operations, who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is passionate about quality, consistency, and team development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations during new store openings until franchise leadership is in place
- Provide hands-on training for new kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth onboarding and alignment with brand standards
- Conduct regular operational audits and location check-ins to assess food safety, cleanliness, service execution, and team compliance
- Support new franchisees with tools, systems, and guidance to ensure a strong start and successful ramp-up
- Act as the primary contact between restaurant teams and the corporate support office
- Collaborate with leadership to implement operational changes and resolve performance challenges
- Assist with evaluating food cost performance and standard recipe execution across all units
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence throughout your assigned region

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant leadership, such as Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or General Manager
- Strong working knowledge of kitchen operations, health and safety regulations, and service standards
- Demonstrated experience in restaurant openings, team training, or multi-unit supervision
- FoodSafe certification required
- ProServe certification required
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between locations (company vehicle provided)

**Location**:
This role is based in **Calgary, Alberta**, with regular travel required to locations in southern Alberta.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
