About the team you are joining

Joining the IATA Publishing team, part of the CS OCS LOB, we create information access solutions that help inform compliance with international legislation and standards, whilst seeking to improve operational performance and reduce risks.

IATA Standards, Manuals & Regulations are the primary source of information for air transport standards, playing our role to help keep the industry flying.

As the Publishing Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating publishing projects and activities for IATA Publishing in a high volume/fast paced production environment.

What your day would be like

You will be working with Adobe Creative Suite software (Illustrator, Indesign, Acrobat, Photoshop).
Managing color correction and creating layouts.
Prepress / Preflight - press ready preparation including color separations, imposition
ePublication production (requires XHTML/ePub standards would be considered an asset)
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) development
With your composition/layout experience, you will be managing Press layout for web, sheetfed offset and digital printing.
Ensure compatibility and correct formatting of digital files and create complex electronic files for publications.
Collaborating and consulting with SMEs & staff to resolve issues, as well as coordinating external vendors, e.g. composition, printing, graphics.
Troubleshooting and modification of XML dependencies and DTD schema as required
XML structural validation and correction against IATA Business Rules
