The associate strategy manager will drive store engine innovation through strategic leadership of key programs and business opportunities. In this role, you'll develop strategies and guide recommendations for equipment projects, analysis of our store engine and develop solutions to address capacity and unlock growth in stores, including collaboration with cross-functional partners (employees) to develop holistic solutions and work with project management to support implementation. This role will also provide support for ongoing strategic rhythms in partnership with the strategy manager. You'll play a vital role in supporting long-term growth and enhancing the partner and customer experience.

As a **associate strategy manager, Strategy, Analytics & Insights**, you will:

- Lead the equipment and store engine portfolio including:
o Collaboration with US teams on equipment innovation, testing, analytics, technology needs and overarching North American strategies.

o Develop Canadian strategies and roadmaps for key initiatives, including leading cross-functional working groups, developing recommendations, and presenting to leader audiences.

o Think creatively and critically and navigate ambiguity within the store engine and equipment portfolio.

o Considers holistic store impact, develop end-to-end systems thinking, and weigh trade-offs across a diverse set of stakeholders.

o Evaluate the impact of decisions on the brand, strategic direction and understand equipment and engine design and messaging.

o Communicate projects and recommendations to stakeholders and collaborate with project managers to support implementation and execution.

o Support the strategy manager with rhythm of the business activities including:
o Administrative support of sprints and the strategic planning cycle

o Collaborate on timeline development and calendar management for key business cycles

o Support with leadership sessions and facilitation

Summary of Experience
- Strategic planning, management consulting. Adjacent experience supporting teams and businesses solve problems also considered - 5+ years
- Data analysis and financial acumen - 5+ years
- Leading teams - 2+ years
- Developing and delivering presentations to executive-level audiences - 1+ year

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**_ _
- Knowledge of a retail operating environment and/or equipment an asset, but not required
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in an agile environment
- Ability to understand the larger picture, connect the dots and identify dependencies
- Communicate clearly and concisely to different audiences through fact-based storytelling.
- Ability to leverage financial results and analytics to develop insights and support strategies
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Advanced skills in Microsoft suite of tools including PowerPoint
- Ability to positively contribute to the Starbucks culture by consistently living our missions and values
