We are growing and seeking a detail-driven **Quality Control Inspector** to join our team. This is a hands-on position critical to upholding the quality, safety, and reliability our clients count on.

**Position Overview**
As a **Quality Control Inspector**, you will be responsible for ensuring all fabricated parts, welded components, and assembled products meet internal specifications, client requirements, and industry standards. You'll work closely with production, welding, and engineering teams to identify non-conformances, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate records throughout the manufacturing process. Your role will directly impact the safety and performance of our finished products.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform in-process and final inspections of fabricated and welded metal components.
- Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection devices.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to verify compliance.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality control records.
- Identify defects, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on resolutions.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, client specifications, and industry codes (e.g., CSA, AWS).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and workflow.
- Support internal audits and assist in maintaining safety and compliance standards.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in a quality control or inspection role within a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication techniques, and metal properties.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and interpreting weld symbols.
- Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and inspection standards.
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Certification in welding inspection (e.g., CWB Level 1) is an asset but not required.

**Work Conditions**
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Based on-site at our Edmonton manufacturing facility
- Physical work environment including standing, bending, and lifting light to moderate materials
- Occasional overtime during peak production periods

Pay: $25.83-$28.89 per hour
