**Quality Control Inspector**

**Primary Role Focus**

Manual and automated inspection of manufactured product. This role reports to the Quality Control Supervisor

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Verify material and measurements
- Document inspections and generate non-conformances
- Assist vendors and assembly operators in troubleshooting as required
- Maintain and calibrate precision measuring equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of work space and shop
- Ensure compliance with Packers Plus Health and Safety Program
- Operate Zeiss Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) as needed.

**Position Requirements**

Experience and Skills
- Experience working with close tolerance measurements in oilfield manufacturing setting
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic knowledge of machining practices & procedures
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of Zeiss Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) an asset
- Read, write, and speak English

Education and Training
- High School Diploma or equivalency preferred

Physical, Business and Safety Requirements
- Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs
- Extended periods of standing
- Subject to post-incident and reasonable cause drug & alcohol testing
