**Position Summary**
We are looking for a **highly skilled and experienced professional Baker & Pastry Chef** to join our team. This role is for someone with proven expertise in both traditional and modern baking techniques, and a passion for producing exceptional products every single day.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, croissants, viennoiseries, pastries, and specialty items to Mezzaluna’s standards.
- Execute all stages of production — scaling, mixing, laminating, proofing, baking, decorating — with consistent accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain adherence to recipes and production methods to ensure exceptional taste, texture, and presentation.
- Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and proofing conditions for optimal results.
- Innovate and contribute new product ideas that align with Mezzaluna’s brand and quality standards.
- Uphold cleanliness, organization, and food safety practices in the kitchen.
- Track and manage inventory, communicating supply needs proactively to management.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of professional baking/pastry experience in a high-quality bakery, pâtisserie, or hotel environment.
- Proven skill in laminated dough, artisan bread production, and fine pastry techniques.
- Strong knowledge of ingredient functions, baking science, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work quickly and precisely in a high-volume, fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail
- Creativity and passion for developing unique products.

- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Compensation**
- Full-time or part-time positions available
- Pay: $19.00-$23.00/hour (based on experience and flexible).
