**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative **Pastry Chef** to lead the dessert program at our restaurant. This role is ideal for a passionate professional with a refined palate, an appreciation for classic technique, and the creativity to elevate traditional steakhouse desserts with modern flair. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for all aspects of pastry operations, including menu development, execution, team leadership, and quality control.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and execute a sophisticated dessert menu that complements a premium steakhouse experience — including refined takes on classics (e.g. key lime pie, crème brûlée, triple chocolate cake) and seasonal specialties.
- Prepare all baked goods and plated desserts with precision, consistency, and high attention to presentation.
- Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine and ownership to ensure dessert offerings align with the restaurant’s brand, clientele, and service style.
- Manage mise en place, production schedules, and service execution for à la carte, private dining, and special events.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organization in the pastry station.
- Track pastry inventory, place orders, and manage cost-effective use of ingredients while minimizing waste.
- Mentor, train, and supervise any pastry assistants or cross-trained team members.
- Stay current with industry trends and contribute fresh ideas to continuously evolve the dessert experience.

**Qualifications**:

- 4+ years of pastry experience in a fine-dining or upscale restaurant; steakhouse experience is a strong asset.
- Culinary or pastry degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- Mastery of classic pastry and dessert techniques, with strong plating and aesthetic sensibility.
- Comfortable working independently and managing all aspects of a pastry program.
- Organized, reliable, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Compensation & Benefits**:
