**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Answering phones and greeting visitors
- Accounts Payable; obtaining approvals of invoices, assigning general ledger coding and posting in Sage, verification of invoices to statements, verifying and distributing semi-monthly cheque runs, responding to vendor inquiries
- Account reconciliation
- Booking and tracking hotel accommodations
- Ordering office stationery and supplies
- Distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Handling queries from managers and employees
- Other miscellaneous duties as required
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in an administrative role or accounting role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Sage accounting software is preferred.
- Proficient in using office software and phone systems; experience with Sage is an asset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
