**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Inventory Management and Ordering
- Manage inventory processes, including placing orders based on schedules and clinical requirements.
- Communicate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve order discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed inventory records, including product codes, order dates, patient details, usage history, and invoice/credit data.
- Monitor consignment inventory and generate usage, expiration, and discrepancy reports.
- Collaborate with clinical teams regarding special orders and backorders.
2. Returns and Exchanges
- Coordinate product returns and exchanges with vendors, including obtaining return codes and maintaining accurate records.
- Organize return schedules and track shipments to ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare detailed reports on product exchanges and returns.
3. Data Entry and Cost Recovery
- Perform accurate data entry into operational logs, cost recovery systems, and financial reports.
- Manage and update rebate tables and track cost recovery details.
- Verify product serial numbers against invoices for accurate reporting.
- Process payments for services and procedures, including applicable fees and reimbursements.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare or ophthalmology is an asset, or a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with vendors and clinical teams.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly between Vaughan and Scarborough locations.
