**Position**: Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator

**Employment Type**: Full Time.

**Office Hours**: Monday to Thursday - 9:00am - 5pm, Friday 9:00am-2:00pm

**This is an office-based role.**

**Salary**: $60,000.00

**Location**: 5 Marconi Court, Bolton, Ontario

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Supervises the inventory available and generates quarterly inventory report to be presented to the higher officials.
- Identifies the reason for the extra consumption of consumables on projects by collecting information from the project management department.
- Maintain inventory stock levels for consumables products.
- Coordinate and manage all shipping activities, including scheduling shipments, preparing shipping documents, and tracking shipments.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange and confirm shipment details.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipping and deliveries promptly.
- Optimize shipping processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the team as needed on projects as they relate to pricing
- Assist with obtaining pricing from preferred vendor list (if applicable) and other vendors
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Assist with building and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while scouting for and onboarding new ones
- Oversee the receipt of purchased products and ensure compliance with all received specifications.
- Handle discrepancies and quality issues with suppliers.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum Post Secondary education
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to solve problems and think logically.
- Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suit.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse documentation
- Ability to interpret and act upon complex instructions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good business acumen
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization, its executive team and other department members
- Excellent planning and resource allocation skills
