**About the Role / Key Accountabilities**:

- Reporting to the Director, Logistics Operations, to provide support and assistance with managing and developing comprehensive Logistics team for Head Office.
- Support the Procurement Manager and Customer Experience Manager as direct reports, located in the head office
- Liaison with the off-site Logistics Branch Managers to share resources, strategies and identify alignment opportunities as relevant to branch location needs.
- Review of processes, performance analytics as well as KPI’s.
- Support the development and implementation of new KPI’s aligned with the growth strategy for the organization
- Possess an understanding of client relationships and requirements to ensure clarity on strategic development.
- Oversee and direct the activities and resources required to execute Procurement strategies and Customer Experience processes to reach performance objectives.
- Manage and oversee the logistics department performance including personnel management including providing support/ guidance, assistance, training and coaching as needed.
- Develop strategies and processes around which align with margin increases and general cost reduction objectives for the group.
- Support the team (including sales team) with transportation solutions
- Help to manage controls to mitigate fraud in the industry
- Ability to understand market trends for the purposes of decision making

**Position Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in 3PL Brokerage.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial capacity, including people management
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the transportation industry
- Skilled in reporting including data analysis and KPI’s.
