General Production Worker

**Job Overview**:
Under the general supervision of the Machine Operator, Area Leader, Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager; the General Production Worker will be responsible to follow directions for various plant tasks to ensure good quality products are efficiently manufactured.

**Shifts Available**:

- Day Shift: 6.45 am - 3.00 pm
- Afternoon Shift: 2.45 pm - 11.00 pm
- Night Shift : 10.45 pm - 7 am

**Locations**:
Seven Facility - 5780 Hwy 7, Woodbridge, ON

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for performing various tasks including moving/loading/unloading trays from oven racks, operating on the twist line and other tasks that will be associated with the assembly or packaging of the product while ensuring good quality product is produced at all times.
- Perform manual loading, movement of boxes, pushing/pulling trays or racks along the production line or packaging area.
- Contribute as a team member by working closely with other team members to ensure product quality and output standards are maintained.
- Responsible to perform the job responsibilities of a back-up Machine Operator for coverage purpose from time to time.
- Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety policy at all times
- Responsible for practicing and adhering to Give & Go’s policies and best practices.
- Responsible for following Give & Go core values, Respect, Direct Communication & Quality.
- Responsible for other reasonable duties as assigned by the Area Leader/Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of high school education or equivalent
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience; asset to have worked in food and dairy manufacturing industry
- Ability to speak, read, write and basic comprehension of English
- Good hand and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Quick learner
- Some technical and/or basic troubleshooting skills
- Coordination and multi-task skills
- Ability to follow directions
- High energy individual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work rotating and/or weekend shift
