This position is responsible for the day to day running of a production line in accordance with company SOP’s, GMP’s and Health & Safety Standards.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Handle product, materials and supplies while maintaining the flow of production.
- Follow all procedures (SOP, GMP, Health & Safety).
- Ensure accuracy, including lot #s, dates, labels, and packaging.
- Responsible for effective operation of all relevant equipment, reporting any equipment defects/malfunctions immediately to the appropriate manager.
- Ensure accurate product packaging to the highest quality and as per customer specifications.
- Visually inspect the production run.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform sanitation procedures of equipment and the assigned area.
- Assist in the final inspection and packaging process.
- Rotate through various positions on the line.
- Suggest ideas to continuously improve productivity and efficiencies.
**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- High School Diploma
- Proficient in the English language.
- Ability to understand, adhere to, and practice company SOP’s, GMP’s, Health & Safety and policies.
- Ability to work in cooperation with others, attentive to detail, and ensure accuracy of work assignments.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and guidance.
- Able to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs.
