**Operations Coordinator** **Permanent, Full-time** **Vancouver, BC** **100% on-site** **$60,000-$75,000 a year** **Shift Energy Group** is seeking an **Operations Coordinator** to join our team in **Vancouver, BC**. The operations Coordinator manages shipping, receiving, and inventory, provides essential operational support, and ensures safety compliance. This position requires effective coordination across these areas to maintain smooth workflows and uphold safety standards. **Shift** is a leading design-builder of solar and energy storage projects. Our culture thrives on efficiency, adaptability, resiliency, and growth, driving us to set industry benchmarks through constant innovation. **Responsibilities**: **Shipping & Receiving** - Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment. - Inspect deliveries for damage, verify accuracy, and report discrepancies as needed. - Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices. - Maintain a clean, organized receiving area and manage the safe storage of goods. **Inventory Management** - Track, maintain, and update inventory records for all solar components and related materials. - Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy. - Collaborate with the purchasing department to identify inventory needs and place orders as required. - Implement best practices in storage and inventory control to optimize space and efficiency. **Operations Support** - Provide operational support to project managers and installation teams by preparing and organizing equipment, tools, and materials. - Assist with scheduling deliveries and coordinating logistics for field installations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment and materials are available on-site as per project schedules. **Safety & Compliance** - Follow and enforce safety protocols within the shipping, receiving, and storage areas. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies, including proper handling and storage of hazardous materials when applicable. - Participate in safety training and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment. **Qualifications**: - High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus. - 2+ years of experience in an operation, shipping/receiving, or logistics role, ideally within the solar or construction industry. - Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office (Word, Excel). - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. - Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs, as needed. - Valid driver’s license (forklift certification is an asset). - Experience with ERP software is an asset **We Offer**: - Competitive salary and benefits, including extended health, dental, and wellness programs. - Paid vacation, sick leave, RRSP matching, and parental leave top-up. - Opportunities for professional development. - Company Vehicle, phone and live-out allowance, and safety training - A positive and inclusive work culture with regular company events. **Working Hours**: 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm **Location**: 103-350 East Kent Ave S, Vancouver, BC, Canada **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion**: We are an equal-opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.
