TSF - The Stone Fabricator Inc, located in Ottawa, fastest growing corporation in Eastern Ontario, in the industry of fabrication & installation of custom projects using stone slabs ( Quartz, Granite, etc), implementing a significant expansion of its production capacity, driven by high demand of its products and services, is seeking the following professional for permanent, full time employment, starting immediately, to drive its new production capacity of countertops for 250+ kitchens per week - powered by 6 Breton CNC machines, and to operate its own inventory of 1200+ stone slabs, and 500+ stone remnants; all managed by digital technology.

We have an immediate opening for a Receptionist - Showroom / Customer Service Representative, who will assist with guest relations and customer experience; this is a full-time, permanent position.

**Primary responsibilities**
- Greeting all walk-in customers, business partners, providers and other parties with a welcoming and professional attitude, as well as answering incoming telephone calls in a courteous manner, serving as the first point of contact.
- Screening calls, as well as determining customers, business partners, providers and other parties' needs, and directing them to the appropriate individual for assistance.
- Keeping entrance area neat, attractive and organized.
- Managing sample, sample racks, and marketing literature inventory within the showroom.
- Maintaining a clean showroom and making sure the space is presentable and in perfect condition.
- Sorting and distributing inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services and other correspondence.
- Ensuring orders are complete and consistent with internal procedures.
- Helping with planning and scheduling, using custom software for that purpose.
- Assisting with commercial activities, logístical planning and participation in trade shows.
- Calling clients ahead of time, managing appointments, rescheduling, etc.
- Providing preliminary assistance with complex customer service situations, working with the sales / fabrication team to find effective solutions.
- Other administrative and customer service duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in an office or service-oriented environment.
- Bilingual (oral and written fluency in both English and French).
- Experience in a stone fabrication environment, or working with kitchen/bathroom/cabinet manufacturers, and / or knowledge of granite, quartz and marble products is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service attitude.
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach.
- Strong work ethic.
- Professionalism in manner and appearance.
