**Position Overview**

We are looking for a PR Assistant Account Executive to work with our Vancouver team, supporting the Pacific Northwest team on day-to-day PR activities for travel, tourism and lifestyle accounts. We are proud to offer flexible hybrid working between home and the office.

**Role responsibilities**
- project coordination
- building client reports
- managing Cision media monitoring
- managing database updates
- assisting with client marketing and communications activities
- client pitching
- involved in integrated pr & marketing campaigns

**Required skills**
- Up to 3 years’ experience in PR or related industry role
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, MailerLite (or similar marketing programmes)
- Competent at using Microsoft Office and cloud-based software
- Have an understanding of the Canadian media landscape and beyond
- Highly developed organisational skills

**Advantageous skills**
- Have an understanding of traditional and digital communications platforms
- Previous experience working in an agency
- Travel/hospitality experience
- Event planning experience
- A college diploma/university degree in PR, Journalism, Digital Marketing or Marketing
