Since 1984, Rolark Stainless Steel/Jacquet Montreal has specialized in providing custom services such as Laser and Plasma cutting, shearing, bar edging, saw cutting, and SPV coating. As a member of Jacquet Metal Services, we are capable of maximizing our global distribution channels to deliver fast quality metal products.

**Position**

An **Outside Sales Representative** will sell the company’s products and services to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account infiltration by personally contacting and securing new business and expanding existing accounts/customers.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The Outside Sales Representative will cover Edmonton and British Columbia.

Responsibilities of this role are listed below, but are not limited to the following:

- Establish, develop and grow existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach within an assigned territory which can be amended by the Sales Manager from time to time
- Cultivate customer relationships that ensure long term retention and future sales opportunity
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and actively pursue prospects.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints while managing expectations
- Ensure a balance between meeting and exceeding customer expectations and achieving business profitability
- Make telephone calls, conduct in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
- Identify and maximize all sales and market development opportunities while providing market intelligence to management.
- Provide technical and marketing support as well as coordinating sales effort with other departments and facilities
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**

Accountabilities of this role are listed below, but are not limited to the following:

- Producing and submitting reports, documentation (such as call reports, weekly appointment schedules, 12-week region rotation cycle, etc.) as directed and specified by the Sales Manager.
- A minimum of a college diploma or equivalent higher education is required.
- Reporting customer complaints to the Inventory/Quality specialist in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the resolution of customer issues as necessary.
- Achieving or succeeding monthly sales quotas as determined by the Sales Manager.
- Other accountabilities as communicated by the Sales Manager.
- Previous experience in the metal distribution industry is an asset.
