**Responsibilities**:
PART-TIME POSITION
Data and Platform services helps to enforce the segregation of duties as recommended by the Office of the Auditor General.
- If a problem occurs in an Application Production environment, they fix or coordinate the fix required to provide services back to the client as soon as possible

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Application Release Management (both automated and manual)
- Database Administration
- Disaster Recovery Management (ex. DR Exercise, Technical Recovery Plans, etc.)

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- University graduation in computer science or a related discipline and 4-yr IT related experience;
- Experience working as Technical Integration and Deployment Coordinator in an enterprise IT environment big in size and complexity
- Experience working in an IT environment compromised of multiple lines of business *Experience must be described in resume.
- Experience working in a SQL Server 2012 (or newer) environment.
- Experience working in an N-tier environment using a Load Balancer to distribute the workload
- Experience working in a distributed environment (multiple data centres) and basic knowledge of networking.
- Experience working with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment Technology

**LOCATION**:
Resource will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings when required. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 - 16:30 Alberta time. Work must be done from within Alberta, due to network and data security issues.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- IT related experience: 4 years (required)
