**The Role**:
The Site Superintendent will oversee the construction process and responsible for all construction activities within the contracted design, budget and schedule guidelines.

**Responsibilities/Tasks**:

- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards and implement policies on site in accordance with the company health and safety policy
- Collaborate with the internal and external team to determine project requirements
- Coordinate scheduling or subcontractors
- Maintain a written daily log of visitors
- Estimate cost and ensure the project is on budget
- Supervisor construction site personnel such as subcontractors, engineers, inspectors, labourers
- Plan inspections and obtain permits from local authorities
- Order appropriate equipment and arrange for deliveries
- Operate and use hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprint drawings
- Review timesheets and submit approval
- Monitor site operations and provide weekly updates
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Coordinator to ensure project efficiency
- Some travel is be required

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a construction superintendent in the commercial construction industry
- In-depth understanding of all construction operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (365) - Word, Excel and Project
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead and inspire a construction team
- Experience with managing demanding clients and offering creative solutions to meet requests and requirements
- Able to lift up to 80 pounds

**Experience**:
Construction: 5 years

**Licence/Certification**:
Drivers License (required)

First Aid/CPR (preferred)

Construction Management Certificate (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
