**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to join our team at TRAPA’s Richmond Head Office. This is a key role within our Accounting team, responsible for managing the timely and accurate processing of payables, supporting cash flow management, and ensuring the integrity of financial records.

Our current AP Clerk will be relocating and resigning from the position, so this is a direct replacement. We are looking for someone who can step into a well-defined role and contribute from the outset. This is not a training ground, and we expect applicants to have a clear understanding of the responsibilities they will be taking on.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Full-cycle accounts payable processing: receiving, verifying, coding, and entering invoices
- Vendor reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Preparation of payment runs (EFT, cheques, wires)
- Monitoring AP aging and managing payment schedules
- Communicating professionally with vendors, internal colleagues, and management
- Assisting with accounts receivable (AR) processes as needed
- Supporting month-end close activities and year-end audit requirements
- Maintaining organized AP records and documentation in compliance with company standards
- Accounting background strongly preferred (diploma, degree, or equivalent work experience)
- Understanding of AP and AR processes is required
- Completion of an AP course is considered a strong asset
- Proficient with Excel and general accounting software; experience with our current ERP system will be taught
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) - must be able to clearly communicate with colleagues, vendors, and articulate issues to the Financial Manager
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage workload and priorities independently
- Proactive, professional, and team-oriented mindset

**Working Environment**:
Pay: $54,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
