**FRONT DESK AGENT / NIGHT AUDITOR - PART TIME**

**Summary of Responsibilities**: Reporting to the Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Display Best Western I Care service standards with all guests you come in contact with. Always providing outstanding service to our guests.
- Register and checkout hotel guests while ensuring all service standards are followed.
- Recognize Best Western Members ensuring they receive amenities and awards applicable for their level.
- Be knowledgeable about the amenities and services available in the hotel.
- Be knowledgeable of the attractions, events, restaurants and services available in the city and nearby surrounding areas.
- Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate area.
- Confirm and input wakeup calls.
- Process payments including credit cards, debit cards and cash.
- Balance cash, complete balance sheet ensuring accuracy.
- Take hotel reservations, make changes, special requests.
- Assist guests with service requests ensuring delivery/completion.
- Perform daily duties and check lists for the shift worked.
- Follow all health and safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- **Qualifications**:

- Fluent in both official languages an asset.
- Required education: Diploma/Certificate
- Must be able to work in a very busy environment.
- Must have the ability to handle cash effectively and accurately
- Previous experience working with Best Western Hotels and Property Management System - Visual Matrix an asset.

**Hours - Job Type**:
This is a part-time position working approximately 16-24 hours per week.

**Front Desk Shifts 7:00 AM-3:00 PM 3:00PM-11:00 PM**

**Night Audit shifts 11:00PM-7:00AM**

**Hourly Rate: $16.00 per hour, $17.00 after 3 months Front Desk shifts $18.00 per hour Night Audit Shifts**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
