**Job Overview**

Mom & Dad Home Care Services is a non-medical care provider dedicated to supporting seniors and individuals with diverse needs. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. As a non-medical provider, we focus on companionship, personal care, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support.
- Offer medication reminders and ensure clients follow prescribed treatments.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and promoting proper nutrition.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to encourage social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including transfers and physical assistance.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Document client progress and report any changes in their condition to families or management.
- Collaborate with families and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive, compassionate care.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working in home care, senior care, or related settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care and hospice care principles is an asset.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of multiple languages is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
- A current and clear police check is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and mobility support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and their families.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to enhancing clients’ quality of life.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 40 per week
