Silver Services is a Division of Home Society a not-for-profit Canadian charity offering care, access, support and education to people who are aging and who wish to remain living in their own home. We are looking for a Personal Support Worker that is passionate and caring to provide exceptional care to our clients.

- Compensation $25-$28 per hour based on experience.
- Day shift - Monday to Friday - 8 hours shifts between 8:00am-8:00pm with the possibility of the odd weekend.

**Summary of responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living
- Healthy meal planning and preparation
- Personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Setting appointments, running errands and grocery shopping
- Companionship
- Transportation and accompaniment to appointments
- Responsible for fulfilling clients care plan
- Monitoring and reporting any change in client’s well-being to Program Coordinator
- Maintain positive relationship with client and family members
- Assisting and participating in online activities

**Requirements for the position**:

- Ability to travel independently to and from client’s home
- Caring, patient individual who takes pride in their work
- Certification or relevant experience
- Negative TB Test
- Police check with vulnerable sector screening
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
