We are currently seeking qualified Personal Support Workers to provide service to our clients in the community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working with clients and providing one-on-one care such as assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Ensuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs as instructed in the client’s care plans
- Helping clients with leisure activities
- Accompany client to appointments
- Ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and independence of clients
- Assisting with the social and emotional needs of a client
- Documenting and recording daily care reports which may include resident incident reports, restraint monitoring, and medication administration.

Adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations set by the province or territory.

Qualifications:
The following credentials can get you working in community health care as a support worker today:

- **Personal Support Worker/Home Support Worker certificate, Paramedic Diploma, Nursing student or are an internationally trained Nurse or Doctor**_
- Certified Personal Support Worker/ Home Support Worker or Paramedic Diploma, Nursing student or are an internationally trained Nurse or Doctor
- Current certificate in standard first aid and CPR
- Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently
- Able to work in a stressful environment
- Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of care

- Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to client-centred care
- Excellent time management skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication and listening skills
- Team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: $23.00-$24.50 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
