Our Administrative Assistant is often the first point of contact for the clients that we serve. Professionalism, empathy and compassion are essential attributes for this position.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and organize office files, documents, and records
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for team members
- Assist with billing and invoicing tasks
- Service Navigation: Welcoming people in the space and directing them to the appropriate resources.
- Coordinate meetings and events, including preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining office equipment
**Skills**:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Education & Experience:
- Post Secondary Education and Office Administration, Office Information Technology, or related relevant experience.
- Lived experience or personal connection to homelessness is an asset.
**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
