Air/ocean Import Co-ordinator

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with the overseas agent and vendors
- Liaise with the various stakeholders; including Airlines, Shipping Lines, co-loaders, truckers and warehouses
- Monitor shipments and respond to inquiries from clients, in a timely manner
- Responsible for data entry into the operating system
- Coordinate shipments and send pre-alert notices to customers and related departments as required
- Ensure shipments are billed in a timely manner and vendor payables process
- Perform and complete duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
- Send documents to the customs brokers for clearance

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience in CargoWise is considered an asset
- Previous Canadian Freight Forwarding experience (2+ years)
- Ability to handle and prioritize a high volume of work.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and/or able to work co-operatively with a team.
- An interest in streamlining processes as well as a passion for detail and improvements.
- Self motivated and goal oriented.
- Ability to effectively represent the company and communicate with individuals at varying technical levels.
- Outstanding communication and documentation skill
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
