Seeking friendly, high-energy multi-taskers who enjoy the restaurant environment, interacting with customers and preparing and working with food. This position requires moving back and forth between the front and back of house.

**DAYS & HOURS**

Must be able to work _every day_ Tuesday to Saturday, inclusive between 10 am and 9:30 pm. Must have flexibility to work both day and evening shifts.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- operate Point of Sale system: accurately enter orders and process payments
- memorize menu and help customers with order options; upsell; promote new menu items
- assemble and bag orders
- take phone orders and process online delivery orders
- prepare and cook some items from scratch, including grilling over live fire
- perform inventory checks and ensure there is sufficient quantity at all times
- maintain cleanliness and health and safety standards at fall times
- Evening Shift also performs closing tasks such as food removal/storage, dishwashing, trash removal, etc.

- excellent English
- able to multi-task and work under time pressures without becoming overwhelmed
- attention to detail; good organizational skills and memory
- able to take direction and initiative and perform tasks quickly and accurately
- able to work well independently and with others
- able to walk, stand in place and perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods
- able to lift, move and carry items up to 50 lbs., including up and down a flight of stairs
- open to learning and taking on new responsibilities

**ASSETS**
- ability to cook Caribbean dishes
- live fire grilling experience
- current food handler’s certification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
