Playcious is looking for a receptionist. We are looking for someone who will demonstrate leadership as well as be a team player. We are looking for someone who will help create a positive environment for our customers and fellow co workers.

A receptionist should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Active listening, organization and great customer service skills also are a must. A talented receptionist can connect callers and visitors with the right employees, as well as handle basic customer service needs. As the first person customers encounter, the receptionist must be respectful, polite and always assist customers and fellow co workers to the best of their ability. Playcious is looking for someone who has a professional appearance and friendly attitude, is a people person, team player and enjoys working and interacting with children

Receptionist Responsibilities
- Knowledge of Playcious Play Passes and add on attractions, including pricing
- Checking in customers for general play and birthday parties, explaining packages to customers, informing customers of our policies, taking payment, issuing wristbands
- Knowledge of our party packages, along with add-ons, including the cafe items and catering menu
- Give tours of the facility, book parties (includes getting all necessary information relevant to the customer party booking)
- Assist customer in building the ultimate party package experience
- Monitoring guest confirmations and cancellations, and answering any inquiries
- Effectively communicating at all times with your floor and operations team
- Daily and / or Nightly cleaning and sanitization of reception area and all surrounding areas

To ensure success as a receptionist, the following skills are essential:

- Demonstrate excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Should be able to work and remain calm even under pressure situations, and should be able to address and resolve any relevant issues
- Should be able to work with a diverse range of people and communicate with them effectively
- Ability to motivate others and provide direction for staff respectfully
- High levels of confidence, maturity, and competence are required
- Outgoing, positive attitude and enthusiasm in the workplace
- Excellent leadership, training and development skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Computer literate (Google Drive, POS Systems, Microsoft Office, etc.) with the ability to learn and train others in the use of new technologies

Experience Required:

- Experience in high traffic customer service settings
- Experience maintaining a neat, organized and clean work environment

2 References required*

2 x Full time, Permanent (35 - 40 Hours)
- Must be available preferably on weekdays, and partly on weekends & Holidays

2 x Part Time (15 - 25 Hours)
- Must be available on weekdays, weekends and Holidays
