The **Office Coordinator **is a support position within API and performs routine clerical and administrative work in answering telephones, working with buildling management on open items, providing employee assistance, data processing and recordkeeping.

- Greet visitors and Team Members. Receives and prepares mail and packages.
- Respond to inquiries from team members, clients and others, and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department.
- Point person for office supply/inventory needs, deliveries, mailing, shipping (tracking/expenses), maintenance requests, as well as outside vendors.
- Liaison with property management, including ID badges, parking passes, etc.
- Maintain kitchen and conference room ensuring proper stocking, setup, and cleanliness.
- Manage all onsite meetings (quarterly team meetings, interviews, etc..) by reserving space, handling logistics, ordering food, and other needs.
- Support HR with local onboarding needs for new hires.
- Provide support, at times, to senior leadership in Markham office.
- Fire Warden for office.
- Office Beautification Champion. Ensure cleanliness, add décor, water plants, etc.
- Other job duties may be assigned when needed, based on API’s needs.

**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**

**Compensation**
Good faith hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20 to $23/hour CAD and is commensurate with experience.
