As a Claims Advocacy Associate, you will be part of the Gallagher’s Claims Advocacy function, providing support to the Commercial Claims team.

**How You Will Affect the Business**:

- Maintain, organize and update client claim files, including Word summaries and Excel spreadsheets.
- Preparing Claim History Summaries for marketing and client presentation purposes.
- Communication with adjusters with respect to open claims.
- Process all incoming mail in a timely fashion.
- Receive and report minor new claims from clients.
- Assisting Commercial Claims Advocates with workload as required.
- Data input using EPIC, Word and Excel.
- Special Claims projects as required.

**Education and Experience**:

- Secondary School Diploma required, College or University Degree strongly preferred - ideally in a Business, Insurance or related program.
- Pursuing or interest in pursuing RIBO, CAIB, CIP or similar insurance designations an asset.
- Successful completion of Insurance Broker License within 3 months of start date.
- High level of proficiency with the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Broker Management Systems and/or electronic filing systems highly valued.
