**About the Role**

**What You’ll Do**
- Advocate for clients by providing expert claim oversight to multiple lines of business
- Lead a team, and foster the development of dedicated claims professionals
- Establish personal and business relationships with Claims leaders at Canadian-based insurers
- Develop strategies and protocols to improve the Claims handling process
- Continuous improvement methods to define, measure, analyze and control the claims process
- Work closely with business partners to ensure client and team satisfaction
- Development of best practices, teaching and training for the claims team

**What You Bring**
- **RIBO License and or CIP would be considered an asset**
- Typically, more than 10 years of industry and product line experience in a brokerage setting
- Experience with Commercial, Personal, Small Business and High-Net Worth claims
- Cyber & E&O claims settlement experience a plus
- Ability to create and lead a team of insurance professionals in a claims setting
- High level of organizational skills with proven successful experience in managing multiple tasks and internal /external clients concurrently in a claims setting.
- Proficiency in coordinating and performing technical claims discussions with internal and external customers.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Suite products including excel, outlook, word and powerpoint.
- Bilingualism would be an asset
