**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including measuring ingredients and following recipes accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and bakery area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately while providing excellent customer service at the register.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and monitoring product freshness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of bakery items.
- Provide assistance to customers, answering questions about products and making recommendations.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in food handling and preparation techniques.

**Qualifications**
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and measuring ingredients.
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members positively.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
