**Responsibilities**:
**Managing staff: Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff, including bakers, decorators, and counter personnel.**

**Ensuring quality: Ensuring that all baked goods are of high quality and meet established standards, including taste, appearance, and freshness.**

**Maintaining inventory: Managing inventory of baking ingredients, supplies, and finished products, including ordering supplies and controlling waste.**

**Creating and modifying recipes: Developing and adapting recipes to meet customer demands, as well as experimenting with new flavors and ingredients.**

**Ensuring food safety and sanitation: Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, including temperature checks and proper storage of food, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.**

**Managing finances: Managing the bakery budget, including tracking expenses, controlling costs, and developing pricing strategies.**

**Collaborating with other departments: Working with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and purchasing, to ensure that all bakery operations are aligned with overall business objectives.**

**Providing excellent customer service: Interacting with customers to understand their needs and preferences, as well as addressing customer concerns and complaints.**

**Staying up-to-date with industry trends: Staying informed about industry developments and emerging trends in baking, and continuously learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.**

**Salary**: $17.00-$27.00 per hour

- North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
