- The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and monitoring product shipping, receiving and warehousing operations.
- Main responsibilities- Managing the activity of the staff under your supervision to optimize the efficiency of shipping operations, the quality of products shipped, and customer satisfaction.
- Tracking returns, credits/billings, losses, and defective items missing from shipments and cooler/freezer waste and filing reports on these.
- Ensuring HACCP food safety standards, SQF, quality control requirements and workplace health and safety programs are being adhered to.
- Establish hourly work schedules for Main Cooler, B&B Cooler, Freezer, and Case Dock work areas.
- Maintaining inventory of purchased finished goods products by ordering product from other locations or suppliers.
- Conduct daily housekeeping audits as part of the Project Evolution GEMBA walk cycle to ensure the cooler, freezer, case dock areas meet or exceed the acceptable level of cleanliness, safety and quality, performance as reasonably expected by GMP and Safety standards.
- Help to maintain the requirements for food quality, safety, and defense.
- Requirements- Diploma of Collegiate Studies in Transportation, Logistics or Business Administration
- 2 to 4 years shipping/warehouse experience
- Experience supervising staff in a unionized environment
- Self-starting and decision-making aptitudes with respect to daily production and human resource management tasks.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Solid problem resolution skills.
- _The shift for this role is from _1pm to 10pm_._
