Victoria, Canada Sure Grip Controls Inc. Full time

Sure Grip Controls Inc., seeks a full-time experienced Picker/Warehouse Associate for 2nd Shift (2:30pm to 11:00pm) who will assist with Shipping and Receiving and will be responsible for managing and picking inventory to fulfill production needs and ensure timely delivery of products to ur customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately picking items from shelves or designated areas in the warehouse based on customer orders or requisitions.
- Maintaining organized and tidy inventory, ensuring items are correctly stored, and updating inventory records to reflect stock levels accurately.
- Inspecting picked items for damage, defects, or discrepancies before packaging or shipment to maintain quality standards.
- Properly packaging items for shipment, ensuring they are secure, appropriately labeled, and prepared for delivery.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move inventory safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Working closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and sometimes with shipping and receiving teams to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.

**Education & Experience**:

- High School Diploma/GED + minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing warehouse.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
- Accuracy and precision in picking orders to avoid errors in shipment.
- Organizational skills and ability in maintaining organized inventory and inventory management systems effectively.
- Team player with clear communication skills who works collaboratively with others, follows instructions, and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software, barcode scanners, or other warehouse-related technology.
- Consistency in attendance and meeting deadlines to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
- Working knowledge ERP system, preferably NetSuite.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
