Dental Office Administrator

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks.
- Oversee patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups, utilizing electronic medical records systems.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical terminology and confidentiality standards.
- Assist in human resources functions, including onboarding new staff and managing employee records.
- Supervise office staff as needed, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle budgeting tasks related to office supplies and operational expenses, ensuring cost-effective practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to streamline processes within the medical or dental office setting.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, enhancing patient satisfaction.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a dental office or hospital setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is essential; experience with Dentrix is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
