**ABOUT US**

TLCC is a group daycare centre for 3 to 5 year olds, and is part of TLC’s children’s ministry. We are a multi-staffed centre, with 2 sub-centres, 6 teachers and a maximum of 37 children. The church provides a large gym, outdoor playground area, and classroom spaces for TLCC’s activities.

**OUR PURPOSE**

Our goal is to share the love of Jesus with children and their families in our community, regardless of their background, offering them a _quality Christian childcare program_, complete with tender-loving care. We believe that children learn best in an environment surrounded by Christ’s love and teachings. Therefore, our staff is committed to providing a loving, nurturing environment, in which children will develop self-esteem and individuality. TLCC has been providing outstanding full-day, childcare to families in Richmond since 2015.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL**
- Be an example of Christ’s love in a caring environment to children, families and staff
- Directly supervise and provide leadership to a team of Early-Childhood Educators, other staff members and volunteers
- Be interested in and committed to the long-term vision TLC has for the future of TLCC
- Have previous managerial and/or supervisory experience
- Have strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
- Have an ability to lead, guide, listen to, encourage and support our TLCC team
- Have an ability to plan and enhance curriculum including activities for special occasions and celebrations
- Have an ability to maintain a strong, positive and supportive relationships with parents/families
- Be able to accommodate special needs children and families
- Have administrative skills to oversee government reporting, staffing hours, child care subsidies, etc.
- Be able to manage day-to-day operations and control expenses
- Be familiar with Child Care Licensing Regulations in BC and the BC Early Learning Framework
- Stay up-to-date with changing government programs and requirements
- Ensure that the facility and equipment is properly maintained for children's use
- Be fluent in English (ability to communicate in Chinese is an asset)

**THE PERFECT CANDIDATE**
- Has years of experience as an ECE manager, having developed a network of contacts and resources within the ECE industry in the Richmond/Vancouver area, and demonstrated ability to manage staff and families with compassion and care.
- Feels a calling to do ministry with children and families; senses that this managerial position is an opportunity to be a Christian witness, develop long-term relationships with families, and demonstrate Christ's love to help families and children.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 5 years ECE experience
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years childcare managerial experience
- Current ECE License to Practice
- Desire to work in a Christian environment and share Jesus' love and Christian teachings with children, families and staff
- Valid childcare CPR/First Aid certificate
- Successful completion of a criminal record check
- 3 reference letters

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- Richmond, BC V6Y 1N8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
