The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a **Disability Management and Benefits Coordinator** for our Human Resources Team within our **Home Office** located at **147 Commerce Drive** in **Winnipeg, MB**.**

As a Disability Management and Benefits Coordinator you will be responsible for facilitating all aspects of disability management and benefits processes, including short-term disability, long-term disability, WCB/WSIB, and return to work programs.

As the Disability Management and Benefits Coordinator you will:

- Work with external service providers to manage WCB/WSIB, short and long-term disability leaves.
- Coordinate and manage employee leaves.
- Explore initiatives to reduce lost time claims and enhance return-to-work plans.
- Provide coaching and consultation to Managers.
- Support employees through all stages of illness and injury while ensuring that relevant and appropriate medical documentation is obtained.
- Administer employee benefits programs which include monthly billing, benefit enrollments, contributions, and arrears collection, etc.
- Act as the internal consultant to all employees regarding leaves, benefits enrollment, and benefit-related inquiries.
- Act as the liaison with external benefit providers.
- Coordinate annual Benefit Renewal and open enrollment processes.
- Provide recommendations to streamline and improve processes and procedures.
- Facilitate Years of Service Awards.
- Manage RRSP/DPSP reporting and eligibility.
- Post-secondary education in human resource management with 1-3 years experience.
- CHRP designation or working towards the designation is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create benefit communications and educate employees on benefit programs.
- Highly motivated with proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.
- A Criminal Record Check will be required.
