**POSITION RESPONSIBILITES**
- **Production Line Troubleshooting & Support**_
Keep production lines operational by quickly troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, such as:

- Network connectivity drops between tools, equipment, PLCs, and stations.
- Wireless Ingersoll Rand torque tool connections and related equipment, including changing torque parameters via software and/or hardware and identifying out-of-sequence errors.
- Handheld and fixed barcode scanner performance; daily resets.
- Printer support with Zebra label printers.
- PLC-related line stoppages (Allen-Bradley and Omron); ensuring proper shutdown procedures are followed.
- Weigh scale malfunctions, calibrations, software.
- Keyence vision system setup & calibration via software.
- Sensor (proximity, laser) misalignments and pallet sequencing (Bosch line).
- Providing technical support for process deviations during troubleshooting, e.g. NG Supplier labels and barcode label generation for bypass scenarios.
- Investigating workflow blockages with custom software, e.g. shipping verification and rework apps.
- **Maintenance & Preventative Care**_
Maintaining, cleaning, repairing, and improving:

- Bosch line carrier pallets, conveyor belts, elevators, and sensors.
- Inspection line carrier plates.
- Air compressors, vacuum lift systems, steamers, and tape dispensing machines.
- Pneumatic hoses, C-clamps, and pop riveters.
- Routine oil checks, tightening, and filter replacements on relevant equipment (e.g., presses).
- Spare equipment list and preventative maintenance schedule.
- **System Updates & Technical Projects**_
Working with production, engineering, and management as needed:

- Updating and maintaining product files and revisions in the production database
- Assisting in debugging equipment, resolving ECNs (Engineering Change Notices), and performing DOEs (Design of Experiments)
- Collaborating on packaging station improvements (Foonf and Fllo lines)
- Chinese speaking preferred and able to travel overseas if necessary
- Assisting in training production operators on processes & tools
- 3-5 years experience in assembly operations or manufacturing support.
- Strong equipment troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining torque tools, scanners, printers, PLC-controlled devices, and automation systems.
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with databases and basic networking.
- Ability to develop and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
- Solid understanding of production support workflows.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-paced production environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Willingness to learn and grow into advanced technical and programming roles.

**PERFERRED**
- Experience writing and developing Work Instructions.
- Programming experience with DC torque drivers; exposure to PLC and/or SQL programming a strong asset.
- Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and TS16949.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with suppliers and technical staff effectively.
- Experience supporting ECNs, equipment debugging, and implementing process improvements.

**PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing stairs or ladders may be required.
- Manual dexterity required for handling tools, small parts, equipment components and working on a computer.
- Must be able to reach above shoulder height and below waist level to perform maintenance or access parts.
- Vision for reading and interpretation.
- Hearing for detecting equipment sounds and communicating effectively with team members, including verbal instructions and troubleshooting discussions.
