**Summary**:
The Quality Systems Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and support of the quality program, policies, procedures, and other quality related matters including regulatory compliance, data quality and usability.
**Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Schedule, conduct and lead auditing processes to ensure that all TESC certifications and memberships such ISO, CWB, TSSA, engineering codes subscription etc. are kept current.
- Assists the Quality Manager to identify, prevent, and correct departures from the quality management system, compliance to applicable regulations, client site-specific requirements and any other matters related to quality program within the organization.
- Master the tracking process and ensure that all measuring and testing equipment are identified, calibrated, and inventoried.
- Interface with Estimating team to review scope of work on active bid preparations to establish Quality requirements.
- Assists with the development of Quality Assurance program training materials. Conducts employee training on the QA Program and topics related to quality systems management and regulatory compliance.
- Aid in the development, distribution and revision tracking of controlled documents including but not limited to forms, policies, standard operating procedures, quality plans, manuals, and handbooks.
- Ensure that documents are produced efficiently, adhere to TESC’s standardized format and are accessible to staff as appropriate. Manage document master logs.
- Lead and maintain TESC’s operational document reviews during the annual internal audit process.
- Participate in analyzing non-conformances and development of corrective and preventative measures. Ensure all NCR’s are recorded in the database/Master Log.
- Provide input in continuous improvement of Quality System to ensure that is functioning efficiently and effectively (corporate and operations).
- Manage and obtain feedback from customers (Clients surveys).
- Maintain documentation of Compliance activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and audit processes in Quality and other Document Control areas.
- Contribute to the writing and review of corporate and project-specific policies and standard operating procedures.
- Provide quality support to other project team members when preparing and implementing internal procedures, identifying process deficiencies, and maintaining continual improvement.
- Administer lessons learned process to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization
- Occasionally travel between Ontario sites to assist in quality related project requirements.
- Support internal and external health and safety activities, such as but not limited to, onboarding and orientation processes (new and existing employees), health and safety tender requirements, document management, updating policies, standards, programs, and procedures.
**Job Specifications**:
- Engineering, Quality or Science related degree, diploma, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a Quality role.
- Experience in the construction industry an asset.
- Experience working on multi-trade construction projects an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
- Work with minimum supervision, self-starter.
- Strong time management/prioritization skills, adherence to deadlines.
- Excellent investigating/problem-solving/analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Valid G class license with a clean driving record.
