**Job Description - Financial Analyst**

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of prior experience as a Financial Analyst, real estate experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with financial software, including advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of finance principles
- Strong analytical, research and quantitative skills
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to multitask
- Time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities:

- Review potential investment opportunities
- Underwrite new real estate investment opportunities, including preparation of project cost models, risk analysis, projected returns and evaluation of non-financial considerations
- Provide due diligence support for projects and prepare due diligence reports
- Review all project information and documentation for current and proposed development projects
- Prepare benchmarking analysis for similar projects and companies
- Prepare presentation decks for potential investors and other projects as required
- Prepare and maintain financial models, budgets and forecasts for both projects and corporate costs
- Liaison with outside consultants, including developers, cost consultants, lenders, accountants, lawyers, and others as required
- Maintain an electronic repository of project and corporate documentation
- Prepare quarterly project reports and other periodic reporting to investors
- Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information generated by the accounting team
- Conduct ad-hoc research as required

**Job Type**:

- Full-time

Base salary:

- $72,000.00-$84,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Regular business hours, Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Salary plus bonus eligibility

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree

**Experience**:

- Financial Analyst: minimum 3 years
- Real estate development experience preferred but not required
