**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Transportation Coordination**:

- Arranging for the transportation of goods, including selecting carriers, scheduling shipments, and coordinating deliveries.
- Handling transportation logistics for TL, LTL, Intermodal, Ocean, and international shipments.
- Assisting in coordinating the transportation of finished products to the customers;
- Completing customs paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments
- In transit tracking, providing POD’s, and rapid support for transportation incidents and delays.

**Communication**:

- Working with various departments, including suppliers, manufacturers, and customers, to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the supply chain.
- Communicating closely with production, quality, shipping/receiving, and accounting teams.

**Problem-Solving**:

- Identifying and resolving issues related to logistics operations, such as delays, damage, or discrepancies.
- Negotiating competitive carrier rates to optimize cost savings.
- Reduction of incremental storage, demurrage and freight costs related to any service issues

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred (2 to 3 years).
- Preferred bachelor’s degree or diploma/certificate in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field CCS, CITT, CCLP credentials are an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented to manage inventory and track shipments effectively.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of tariff schedules & accessorial fees.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
