**Job Summary**:
This position requires the successful applicant to be responsible for overseeing the production of North and South Indian dishes in a fast-paced working environment. The restaurant manager is responsible for managing staff work schedules, organizing restaurant operations, and maintaining the overall quality of the restaurant’s products and customer experience.
**Job Duties**:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including payroll and inventory management
- Implement and evaluate operational and cost-management procedures
- Receive deliveries and implement standards on product acceptance and documentation
- Oversee the training of new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Recruit new staff as necessary and train them according to the restaurant’s policies
- Respond to and resolve customer complaints
- Conduct employee performance reviews and implement dress and behaviour policies based on company standards
- Plan and create staff work schedules and assign work duties
- Implement and evaluate advertising campaigns, special promotions, seasonal events, and other occasional activities
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations throughout the restaurant
- Other duties as required
**Minimum Skills Requirements**:
- Completion of diploma or certificate in hotel/restaurant management, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a managerial role within a restaurant setting;
- Excellent conflict resolution and time-management skills; and
- Professional attitude and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, ON N6H 4L1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
