Signature Supplements Inc. is currently seeking an Accounting & Payroll Coordinator that will assist with a variety of financial projects including bookkeeper tasks, accounting, payroll, financial and administrative duties. They will be directly responsible for month end process, posting journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and various reports.
We are looking for someone with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. The right person will have excellent administrative skills, strong attention to detail and is able to understand overall business finances.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounts payable with significant data entry and review of posting journal entries
- Handle account issues and reconcile discrepancies with suppliers
- Maintain pertinent records and documentation including balance sheet and profit and loss statements
- Ensure accurate billing of customers and complete monthly account reconciliation
- Liaise with various departments to gather and share relevant financial information
- Provide accounting and analytical support on product costing and cost of goods sold
- Produce and submit reports on finance activities including operating budgets
- Support to complete payroll and manage time off requests with tracking absenteeism
- Develop and implementing of operating budgets
- Complete other assigned functions, ad-hoc finance projects and administrative duties

**Requirements**:

- BA degree in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred
- 3+ years of related accounting work experience required
- Proficient with MS Office Excel and experience with QuickBooks considered an asset
- Exposure to payroll processing with ADP or similar considered an asset
- Outstanding financial and analytical skills
- Must be able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
- Strong work ethic and collaborative team attitude
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills

This is a full time (40 hours/week) permanent opportunity that offers a starting wage of $22-$24 an hour. Hours are 9am - 5pm with two (2) weeks’ vacation per year along with four (4) personal days, benefits after three months and a Deferred Profit-Sharing Program to further enhance your financial wellness.
