**About the role**:
As the Manager of Planning and Fulfillment at Adastra, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization is positioned to meet our customers’ expectations - now and into the future. You will manage a team that handles customer orders, production plans, forecasts, inventory and replenishments to achieve this goal.

You will have superb understanding of how the supply chain works end to end and be able to build partnerships and relationships internally and externally to ensure great outcomes under pressure. You will be responsible for driving the strategy, people, process, and technology to enable your functions to deliver on corporate goals.

**Duties and responsibilities (include and are not limited to)**:

- Planning
- Allocations of critical materials (i.e. biomass, bulk) to production orders.
- Create and track production schedules.
- Assess material needs.
- Manage the demand plan, based on a forecast collaboratively developed with the sales team.
- Manage bills of materials, and substitutions or replacements or components.
- Create inventory policies that minimize investment but maximize fill rates.
- Manage inventory turns and weeks on hand at all tiers of our supply chain.
- Collaborate with our suppliers and customers on lead times and appropriate inventory.
- Order Fulfillment
- Manage all cannabis board customer orders, from order entry to delivery (i.e. inside sales).
- Manage all B2B orders, from entry to delivery (i.e. inside sales).
- Target high ‘delivery in full on time’, while minimizing overtime and logistics expedite costs.
- Minimize RTV’s, Rush Orders.
- Ensure our internal operations are managing effectively against customer expectations.
- Procurement
- Manage inventory min/max, Kanban levels to optimize purchase timing, size and cost for replenishment buys.
- Issue POs on a timely basis, minimizing expedite costs.
- Form solid partnerships with our key vendors.
- Routinely evaluate and understand supply risks and mitigate where possible.
- Optimize/reduce costs of replenished materials.
- Work with product development to ensure sustainability in new product suppliers.
- General:

- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the Planning and Fulfillment department.
- Coach staff to foster clear communication and accountability, including the performance management system.
- Support and advise the management team, employees, and applicable contractors.
- Act as an ambassador of the Company.
- Uphold company policies and procedures.
- Lead by example and create and maintain professional relations with company leaders and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvements within the organization.
- Potential for Ad hoc projects.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications/Competencies**:

- Preference for a Business or other technical degree.
- 3 years planning experience in a manufacturing field, preferably within Pharmaceutical, Legal Cannabis, Food Industry or any other CPG organizations.
- Experience with planning and order fulfillment.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Experience in people management is considered an asset.
- Must possess excellent English communication skills for liaising and communicating with internal and external parties both written and verbal.
- Proven leadership skills, including successfully building and developing a team.
- Effective strategy development, communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Motivated to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
- Energetic and motivated individuals with a keen interest in the evolving cannabis
- industry.
- Able to successfully obtain a clear criminal record check.
