Another major focus from our program is building relationships with Indigenous community groups and allowing students to experience and learn about Truth and Reconciliation, Indigenous culture and ways of knowing. These activities help develop leadership skills, build self-confidence, resilience, sense of community and conversational English as well as decrease loneliness and help students meet new friends, in addition to support services such as digital navigation for students struggling with technology and basic computer skills and flexible scheduling options and delivery modes all facilitate LINC learners’ access to a high caliber learning experience.

Outside of the LINC American Sign Language class, blind/low-vision students are supported to allow them to access/remain in school.
