The Faculty of Natural Sciences at the King’s University is seeking a Sessional Lab Instructor in Biology for
the following course in the Winter term of the 2025-26 academic year. The course meets for 3 hours per
week.

**COURSE DESCRIPTIONS**

Winter 2026

BIOL 290: Biology Concepts and Connections - Lab only
Mondays 2:00 - 5:00
A survey of the fundamental concepts central to biology, with emphasis on equipping students to
understand and respond to everyday life experiences. Examples will be drawn from the biology of
health, genetics, and human interaction with the environment, and other current topics.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of a 4-year BSc in Biology or closely related field.
- Post-secondary teaching experience as either a primary instructor or teaching assistant
- Assent to the University’s Christian Statement of Faith
