**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Design and Conception**: Participate in the design of various components of energy production and distribution systems, including:

- Biomass combustion systems, including flue gas cleaning.
- Steam and condensate networks.
- Thermal oil systems.
- Heat exchangers.
- **Diagnosis and Problem Solving**: Identify and solve technical issues related to energy systems.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure proper operation of the facilities.
- **Technical Documentation**: Write technical reports and documentation related to combustion projects.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that combustion systems comply with safety and environmental standards and regulations.
- **Occasional Travel**: Travel occasionally to perform product performance analyses.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: University degree in, , or any other equivalent combination of education and experience.
- **Experience**: Knowledge and experience in biomass energy production systems and steam or thermal fluid distribution. Knowledge of various applicable standards, such as CSA, ASME, etc.
- **Asset**: Knowledge and/or experience in the wood drying industry.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesis skills.
- **Project Management**: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
