Position Title: Customer Service / Scheduler

Department: Office

Status: Full Time Permanent

Position Overview: As a growing manufacture, we are seeking a motivated Customer Service / Field Service / Representative who is responsible for serving internal and external customers in person, online and via telephone. The Customer Service / Field Service / Representative, will primarily be responsible for the coordination of all incoming work onto the shop floor. This role reviews all orders are entered correct, and coordinates all work scheduled and relaying incoming work orders, and providing support to customers, vendors and any other inquires. This position monitors all estimated shipping dates and must go dates following up with the Plant Manager to ensure product is shipped on time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensures schedules meet install dates according to customer demands
- Provide customer support and address customers concerns and inquiries to include advising customers of shipping dates or order ready for pick up.
- Co-ordinate install and service crew with customer demands.
- Ensure staff are complying with company policies and procedures.
- Provide training, leadership, and guidance to team members.
- Coach all team members to meet and exceed customer and business expectations by administering performance evaluations.
- Develop daily and weekly production schedules using the capacity plan; Plan and schedule workflows and operations according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Communicates inventory issues to Customer Service so that solutions can be developed.
- Works with various departments to ensure orders are released, materials ordered and engineering drawings, if required are completed.

- Required to communicate the schedule to all affected departments and then coordinates the work flow between departments.
- Collect data and compile progress reports that describe how well the facility is meeting its production goals.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma, GED or other equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ of direct work experience in a customer service and scheduling capacity.
- Previous work experience within the mechanical or fabrication industries would be considered an asset.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent time management, problem solving and listening skills.
- Highly organized and service oriented.
- Abel to perform basic calculations, mathematical figures and familiar with imperial measurement.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Abel to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people diplomatically and professionally at all time.
- Proven data entry and typing skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written..
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience an asset

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to sit or stand for an entire 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to walk for up to 30 minutes.

Hours:
The normal hours of work at 40 hours per week; however, some non-standard hours may apply
