Description of position: Cashier

Department: Retail

Reports to: Retail Store Manager

Rate of Pay: $ /Hour depending on customer service skills and experience

Start Date: Immediately

Expected Availability: Days, Weekends and Evenings

Full-Time position

Core Competencies:

You are expected to have a command of each of the professional skills below:

• 1 + year(s) in Customer Service and/or Retail experience
• 1+ year(s) as a Cashier
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an approachable and friendly demeanor
• High energy with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as a team and contribute to achieving the goal of superior customer service
• Great Problem solving skills
• Experience within Health Food Store or Natural Health industry or extensive personal knowledge/use of natural health products is an asset

Responsibilities:

• Provide high level of customer service to all customers
• Greet customers and provide a welcoming friendly environment
• Accurately process orders using a POS system
• Ability to serve multiple customers
• Proactively provide a neat, clean and well merchandised environment.
